We'll discover the history of this world famous chocolate factory, strongly linked with the soul of Umbria and Italy. We'll get to know the culture of Chocolate, from the plant to the final product. TRASIMENO LAKE & MAGGIORE ISLAND

Departure from Passignano harbour on board of public ferries. Maggiore Island is the only one still inhabited inside the lake and going there is like stepping back in history. A world that no longer exists. You will walk inside centuries-old olives trees fields and you can enjoy unique landscapes. A little stroll around the streets of the only village of the Island is mandatory, before reaching “Guglielmi's Castle” and “St. Michael Church”, with its Giotto School paintings. Another "must see" of the Island is the St. Francis rock, where the saint found shelter during his time on the island, in 1211. The tour is organized to promote the artisans and the lake traditional fishermen's. You can taste the amazing fish dishes in the restaurant adviced by our promoters. GUBBIO & FONTE AVELLANA MONASTERY

Gubbio, the "most beautiful medieval town in the world" is a place full of history and traditions. We'll walk around XIII centuries palaces and squares, world famous art shops and we'll enjoy breathtaking landscapes. Gubbio is the second town of St. Francesco d'Assisi and also Dante Alighieri wrote about it on his Divine Comedy. We'll eat at "Osteria Cernicchi" or at "La Cantina" restaurant, in the heart of the old town. After lunch we'll do a GUIDED TOUR OF “FONTE AVELLANA MONASTERY”, in the Marche region. The tour is given by the monastery Medieval experts that are promoting and keeping alive the history of this unique place. The monastery of Fonte Avellana (hazelnut spring) is located on the green slopes of Monte Catria (1701 meters) and it's built at 700 meters over sea level. This imponent monastry was built at the end of the X century, around the year 980 when some hermits decided to build the first cells of an hermitage that, after many centuries became this wonderful building. The spirituality of the founding members has been influenced by San Romualdo di Ravenna, Father of St.Benedetto's congregation. The monastry is famous for it's library and because a legend says that Dante Alighieri wrote there some chapters of his "Divine Comedy”. ASSISI & SPELLO

We will go to ASSISI for a promotional tour of the art and culture of the old town, included many artisans and food and wine producers. You will also have time to visit the magnificent ST.MARIA DEGLI ANGELI BASILICA. Walking in Assisi is an unforgettable journey through the heart of Christianity. You can follow the steps of St.Francis life, from the house where he was born to the unique church where he's buried, surronded by Giotto and Cimabue paintings, two of the main artists of XIII century. After Assisi we'll move to Spello, on the southern slope of Mount Subasio. Visiting the old town will allow us to relive the splendor of the ancient Roman Julia Colony and pop into some shops specialized in what they call "The Green Gold": one of the best extra virgin olive oil in the world, produced and sold by our partners. Spello hosts the world wide famous "Cappella Baglioni", painted by Pinturicchio, one of the most important artist of italian Reinassance.
